As you can see from the pictures below, even after building the log cabin, there are plenty of trees left for further structures.

Once you've arrived and relaxed, take a walk around the beautifully wooded 103 acres. It's a good hike and you are guaranteed to see a variety of wildlife as well as tall and majestic timber.

The Fall is particularly beautiful with a mix of color from oak, maple, aspen, pine, tamarack and birch.
Wildlife abounds and the woods are rich with the sounds of birds. The large deer population commonly use the driveway and other roads on the property for trails. Partridge are abundant and enjoy eating the rye grass and clover around the cabin.
Hardwood forest on the property
This property adjoins state-owned land on the northwest. Neighbors are from the local area as well as from Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Lower Michigan. With the cabin tucked in the center of the parcel, you may or may not see or hear anyone, depending on your preferences.
